Welcome to My Personal Page
Welcome to my fundraising page for Samaritans 5K Run/Walk for Suicide Prevention!
I hope you will support me in raising funds for Samaritans and their suicide prevention work.
I just wanted to share this page in hopes to spread awareness to this upcoming event. As most of you know I lost my uncle Joe in 2011 & my mother Valerie in 2016. Our family lost two of the most amazing souls to ever grace this earth. This will be the first year I will walk in memory of my mother. My beautiful mother who had the best smile, a heart of gold, who was there for anyone when they needed a shoulder to cry on or someone to lift their spirits. She did so with grace and dignity even during some of the hardest times in her life. She made sure that not one person felt alone. She was simply, the best. There are no words to describe the immense devastation that filled my heart & my soul the days when they left this world. There will forever be a void and not a day will pass that I will not think of them and every other soul we have tragically lost. However, I find strength through the love I recall, the bonds that were shared, & all of the memories that were made. I am grateful each and every day for the time I was able to have with them because although it was too short, it was a blessing. I want to continue to live my life in honor of theirs. Not everyone has been affected by suicide so I do not expect everyone to attend. I do not expect donations on my behalf but I would love to see this organization prosper so anything you would like to spare would be appreciated. On the site, you can participate simply by being a virtual walker which does not cost anything. Just to show you stand with all of us in furthering prevention. Please consider joining this fight. & please, always spread kindness and respect to one another for you do not know the battles that each soul may be fighting.
PEACE & LOVE, always.
