Kathy's Team - 2017

Hi, and thank you for visiting Kathy's Team 2017 page!

Our family is gathering for our 11th consecutive year, to run and walk in loving memory of our sister, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, cousin and friend. This year's event is happening on Saturday, September 23rd, at Artesani Park in Brighton.

We'll never see Kathy's bright smile or hear her infectious laughter again, and will never understand her decision. She enriched our lives in so many ways, yet she found herself in a dark place and left us too young. We will never stop missing her.

Our family feels blessed to have found comfort, and a unique bond with the greater Samaritans community, which has provided an outlet for our grief and a positive forum to help others. We continue to find great strength and inspiration each year as we join with others to share stories and celebrate the lives of our loved ones. The Samaritans 5K Run/Walk Family Festival for Suicide Prevention is a very special event that helps the organization with their life saving mission. The befriending services, survivor network and outreach programs inject hope into the lives of so many.

Please help us exceed our goal of raising over $20,000 this year to help Samaritans with their valuable work. We greatly appreciate your generosity and kindness in supporting our efforts!

We would love for you to support our team by making a donation or by joining our team at the event. Click "Donate Now" to make a donation and help us reach our fundraising goal, or click "Join This Team" to register for the event as a member of our team. Registration is only $35 for walkers and $40 for runners. We hope that you are able to join us at this amazing event!

Thank you so much!

These vital services are available locally to the families, friends and neighbors, free of charge. Samaritans answers calls from Greater Boston, MetroWest, the State Wide toll free number, and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
