19th Annual Samaritans 5K Run/Walk for Suicide Prevention

Claire's Crusaders

 Mom,

I can’t believe it’s been over 5 years since you’ve been gone and how much has changed. Madelyn is now 4 and is starting preschool in the fall and is always a ball of energy while Emma is 2 and is developing a big personality! I know that you are always with us in spirit, but I wish you and Dad could be here to play with them and watch them grow. I know how much you’d love them.

Sean is healthy, happy and has found the right person in his life. He has become an amazing partner, uncle, role model and mentor to not only me, but to those struggling with addiction. I know you’d be so proud of him.

There is never a day that goes by that Sean and I don’t reminisce and keep your spirit alive in thought. I’ll always make sure that your grandchildren know who you are through stories and silly quotes like “you stink like a piggy in a sink” – I will never let your memory fade.

We are walking again in your honor to raise awareness around suicide and to help make a difference.

We miss and love you.

Welcome to my personal fundraising webpage in support of the Samaritans 5K on Saturday, September 23rd! I am participating in the 5K to raise funds and awareness for Samaritans, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the incidence of suicide in Greater Boston and Metrowest. Click the Donate Now button to sponsor my efforts in meeting my fundraising goal, or click Join This Team to create your own page and join me in raising funds and awareness for this organization's amazing cause!
